Delhi Metro services affected on Yellow line, which connects all the stations between Samaypur Badli to Huda City Centre, due to some technical snag and left thousands of commuters stranded at the station. There was no train movement between Sultanpur and Qutub Minar stations.
Since the movement of the train was halted near Chhatarpur and the train got stuck on the tracks, people deboarded and walked on the tracks to reach their destination.
The commuters took the road services and had a hard time reaching their offices.
Some, in fact, worked took WFR*.
However, the CM has intervened and asked for a detailed report.
“Normal services have now resumed. Inconvenience is regretted. Please allow for some extra time in your commute till the bunching of trains eases.” tweeted DMRC.
